I. GOD

A) We believe that there is only one God. Deut. 6:4 and Mark 12:29 & 32

B) We believe that God is a three-fold being consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is a triune God. 2 Cor.13:14, 1 Jn. 5:7, Matt. 3:16-17 & 28:19

C) We believe these three are one God — equal in power and glory and the same substance.

D) There is no other God in Heaven or on earth.

E) We believe God is a Spirit. John 4:24

F) God is eternal in existence, from everlasting to everlasting. Ps. 41:13 and 90:2

G) We believe that God is: Omnipotent — all powerful. There is nothing or any force more powerful than God. His power or authority is without limit. Rev. 19:6

H) God is Omnipresent — capable of being present in all places at the same time.

I) God is Omniscient — knowing all things. He is aware of all things. 1 John 3:20

J) God is all-knowing and without age. That is, God knows all events past, present and future.

K) God, with Jesus, created all things in this universe. How He created it or what length of time was involved in this creation is not as important as the fact that He was and is the Creator. Without Him our world would not exist. Rev. 4:11, Eph. 3:9, and Col. 1:16-17

L) God is greater than man. Job 33:12

M) There is none totally good save God. Matt. 19:17 and Ps. 34:8

N) God is true. 2 Cor. 1:18

O) God is patient. Romans 15:5

P) God is merciful. James 5:11, Eph. 2:4, Ps. 116:5-6, and Jonah 4:2

Q) God is mighty. Job 36:5

R) God is unchanging. Num. 23:19 and Mal. 3:6

S) God is holy. Ps. 99:9

T) God is love. 1 John 4:8

U) God is light. 1 Jn. 1:5 & 7
